To make educators appreciate the importance of experiential education through an integrated approach thus bringing a positive change in their mindset about learning through Integrated Curriculum Project (ICP), an outdoor workshop was conducted for 30 teachers of Bal Bharati School, New Delhi, on September 1–3, 2014, at an outdoor location for experiential learning. These were teachers of Montessori, Elementary, and Primary grades. They were taken to village Kurali, Haryana, for the workshop.
Aim of the workshop to be held with the teachers:
– Understand the perspective of Integral view towards education.
– Appreciate the aspect of Integral education as propounded in National Curriculum Framework–2005.
– Analyzing the result of various research studies conducted on the importance of integrated education and PBL.
– Understand the practical aspect of Integrated Curriculum project by looking at the samples of the work done in other schools with the students.
– Integration of integral view and current curriculum researches for the benefit of 21st century learners (students/educators).
