AuroNeev, an initiative of India Council for Integral Education (ICIE), Sri Aurobindo Society, conducted an Outdoor Filmmaking Camp Project with The Heritage School, Delhi, organized at Sariska Tiger Reserve, Rajasthan, from 18 to 28 October 2013. Students of Grade VI, their teachers and resources persons participated in the Project. The objective of this Outdoor Filmmaking Camp Project was to give students a practical understanding of the theories and concepts covered in their science syllabus of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) through a project-based learning (PBL) methodology, integrating the aspects of photography and filmmaking.

A project based on science syllabus, with sessions on various aspects of Integral Education, including capturing light from different sources, light as form of energy, filmmaking production process and other special attractions (such as a village visit, cart ride, village transportation, jungle safari, etc.). There were also special sessions on application of psychic education, project work method, nature, and awareness

It was a beautiful experience for all those involved—the resource persons, teachers and the participants—as it provided a platform to grow together in the spirit of Integral Education, while covering the rigours of education in a very interactive, practical and fun way.
